Applications
Base and perimeter protection
Continuous watch over fences, gates and approaches, with robots and drones sent to check before people are put at risk.
Next
Rendered visualisation, not live footage.
The challenge
Long fences, frequent alarms.
Military bases, ports, energy sites and other critical infrastructure have long perimeters, often in remote or difficult terrain. Watching all of it, all of the time, takes more people than most sites have.
Sensors along a fence produce frequent alerts from wildlife, weather and maintenance. Sending people to check each one is slow, expensive and can put them at risk.
What Alethem does
Check first, send people when it matters.
Layered sensing
Combines fence sensors, cameras, thermal and radar into one picture of the perimeter and its approaches.
Robots and drones check first
Sends a ground robot or drone to look before a patrol is dispatched, so people go only when they're needed.
Patterns over time
Remembers what happened on previous nights, so repeated probing of the same stretch of fence is noticed.
Example cases
What it would investigate.
Fence alarm at night
A fence sensor triggers in a remote section. The nearest camera has no clear view, so a drone is launched for a visual and the operator gets the images within minutes.
Repeated approach
A vehicle stops near the same gate three nights in a row. The system links the events into one case and flags the pattern.
Weather or wildlife
Thermal shows an animal along the fence line. The case is closed and logged, and nobody is sent out.
Stage
Next, after transport.
The same investigation loop we're building for transport applies directly to perimeters. We plan to adapt it once the first system is proven on transport sites.
