Responsibility
Human command at every step.
Systems that watch people and places carry real responsibility. These are the commitments we build to, for the operators who use Alethem and the people on the sites it watches.
People decide
Alethem gathers evidence and recommends. Decisions about people, and any response, are approved by a trained operator. The system does not take action against a person on its own.
Every step is recorded
Each case keeps a full record of what was seen, what was checked, what the system recommended and what the operator decided. Cases can be reviewed and audited after the event.
Proportionate by design
The system is built to collect only what an investigation needs, keep it no longer than necessary, and meet UK data protection law. Sites stay in control of their own data.
Explainable
Every case shows its reasoning step by step. If the system can't explain why it reached a conclusion, the operator is told so.
Tested before trusted
Capabilities are measured in simulation and on recorded footage before they're tried on a live site, and their limits are stated plainly.
Lawful use
We work with customers and partners whose use of the system is lawful, and we follow UK export controls for defence and dual-use technology.
Rendered visualisation, not live footage.

Questions about how we work?
We're happy to talk about how the system is designed and how it will be used.
