Mission

The people protecting a site should never be the last to know.

Our mission is to give the people who protect critical sites and operations a complete, honest picture of what is happening, so threats are found early and every response is decided by a person.

Rendered visualisation, not live footage.

The problem

More sensors than people to watch them.

Stations, airports, ports and military bases now have more cameras and sensors than ever, and robots and drones are joining them. Each one adds another stream of data and another source of alerts.

The people responsible for those sites haven't multiplied in the same way. Control rooms sort through alerts that are mostly nothing, while the ones that matter can arrive late, without context, or not at all.

The result is a gap between what a site can see and what its people can act on. That gap is where incidents are missed.

Why now

Three things have changed.

Sensors are everywhere

Cameras, thermal sensors, ground robots and drones are cheaper and more common than ever, and most sites already have some of them.

People are the bottleneck

No team can watch every feed. The limit on security today is attention, not coverage.

Software can now reason

AI can now interpret what sensors see and decide what to check next. Used under human command, it can close the gap.

What we believe

Machines should do the watching. People should do the deciding.

Investigate, don't just alert

An alarm on its own is a task for someone. A case with evidence is a decision someone can make. We build for the second.

Work with what's there

Sites have spent years installing cameras and sensors. The fastest way to better security is to get more out of them, not to replace them.

Earn trust in the open

Every step the system takes is recorded and explainable. If it can't show its working, it shouldn't be trusted with the decision.

Start civil, build for defence

Transport sites let us prove the system in real conditions. The same capability protects bases and coordinates uncrewed systems.

The name

Alethem comes from aletheia, the Greek for truth.

Its literal meaning is "not hidden": the prefix a- (not) and lethe (concealment). That is the job of the system: to bring what's hidden on a site into view, and to show its evidence honestly.
